(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

What next? A car that puts itself up for sale if you dont drive it for 2 weeks?Don't laugh. Part of Elon Musk's Master Plan, Part Deux, is that your self-driving car of the future will include the ability to earn it's keep by doing Uber-like taxi duty while you're not using it.

Unless it is Knight Rider level intelligent with the ejection seat, I will pass.

“Honestly, baby, the car was Ubering last night! Put that rolling pin down and let’s talk about this!”

Not to keep the transaction honest but to collect sales taxes.

If you like your clothes, you can keep your clothes.

You know, there is global terrorism, slavery, genocide, rape and disease all over the world.
But it seems the biggest thing that is being addressed and eradicated is “Americanism”

It is communism, “we need to move away from the concept of ownership”.
You don’t own your stuff - you only get to control what you use regularly, give up the rest to the collective.

Women’s shoes can simply walk themselves to the second hand shop.

This won't end well.

This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. This is not a problem in the world, that clothes are not recycled quickly enough. I realize we have ongoing problems with hunger, maybe even water, but I really haven’t heard of nakedness being a problem for quite some time.
And if I’m wrong and it IS a problem, this will not solve it.
Nothing against you for posting the thread, but if people are really working on this, they need to find something else to do.

I haven’t forgotten my clothes just because I might not have worn them for 30 years. In fact, one full length leather overcoat, that I inherited from my father, he hadn’t worn in the previous 30 years either.

Would this be anything like Hillary’s pantsuit, “Ol’ Crusty,” getting up and walking around on its own?

"Hello Ebay. I am Mr. Drill's trousers. My waist measurement is 30 and my inseam is 32. I have been hanging in Mr. Drill's closet since the Carter administration in Mr. Drill's pathetic fantasy that he is ever going to be able to lever on a 30 waist without an industrial press and a drum of lard. Please take pity on me. The notion of that wrinkled butt being packed into me like a cheap sausage should tear at the heart of any clothing lover. Make an offer! Cheap!" My pants hate me.

Just because technology allows something to be done doesnt mean its a good idea.Sounds like a great idea to me!
I'd love it if all the crap I never use sells itself on eBay.
