The Amish are notorious for their puppy mills.
They breed and dispose of puppies as if they were insects.

Stories like this and the puppy mills don’t endear the Amish to me. "The Amish' are not a monolithic group, while I am sure they can be like institutionalized religion. Yet based upon the article, I see no actual beating.
