I watched a bit of the opening which was completely boring. Clicked away, but came back to watch the athletes parade in. Athletes seemed like asses and was again bored with the selfies. It appears the Olympics are more concerned with diversity than with excellence. Turned it off and probably will not watch anymore.
I’ll wait until the inevitable bad happens and then watch the news about it.
Weeding garden, sorting sock drawer, etc.
We accidentally watched about 30 seconds while switching channels. We proceeded to switch.
You aren’t the only one annoyed by it:

I watched practice and qualifying for NASCAR’s Zippo 200 Race at The Glen, and old episodes of “Triple D”.
The whole purpose of carrying the Olympics is to sell soap.
NBC couldn’t care less about athletics.
I missed the first part, but I thought it was OK. Some minor comments about silly things. But the ohwhoasme about The Environment(TM) pisses me off.
With Fox News and CSPAN available, why bother? As far as the Olympics are concerned, I’d rather watch the show about the Detroit pawn shop.
Brazil's carbon footprint looks 20 times larger than USA's. Of course the USA exporting their jobs to China and India has something to do with that.
Couldn’t care less. Don’t plan to watch any of it - not even beach volleyball. Between trannies, socialism on parade, terrorists, zika and filth, nothing there I want to see.
The previously avid Olympics watchers in my family are also not watching it - just don’t care.
