The thing rides on tracks so that should not be an issue.
What they cannot control fully is the traffic mix. Those are small cars underneath. One delivery truck or small pickup carrying something oversize and the whole system stops.

Kind of reminds me of the massive buses that take you from the main terminal to the gates at Dulles Airport near DC, only these are bigger.
