Islamic State: Jesus is a “slave to Allah” who will wage jihad once he returns to earth

As shocking as the declaration of the slavery of Jesus to Allah may come, the Islamic State is basing its “claim” that Jesus was a “slave to Allah” on Islamic scripture.

Qur’an 19:30 states of Jesus’ words: “Lo! I am the slave” of Allah, in the Pickthall translation. Other translations state that Jesus declared himself a “servant” of Allah. The Pickthall translation is the work of Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall, who was a British convert to Islam Islamic scholar noted for this English translation of the Qur’an. (The Qur’an also says (at 4:157) that Jesus was not crucified.)

What far too many Westerners argue is that the Islamic State is an aberration to Islam, but in reality, it is a manifestation of normative Islam that practices a particularly brutal form of jihad by the sword, and does not conceal its intentions in the manner that its more “peaceful” counterparts such as the Muslim Brotherhood do. Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna also stated that it is the duty of all Muslims to wage jihad by the sword, but this command is largely concealed by Brotherhood adherents, who will only reveal and act upon it once the Muslim Brotherhood gains enough power on Western soil to be confident in beginning to show its true colors.

So according to the tenets of Islam, Jesus is indeed a slave to Allah – or at best, a servant — and the Islamic State has openly declared it. Recall that Islamic State leader al-Baghdadi is an Islamic scholar who spent four years in U.S. captivity, and bases his barbaric actions upon Islamic law, which he uses to justify his ruthlessness. In fact, the Islamic State has now sent a message to the misguided Pope Francis: “ours is a religious war and we hate you”.

The claim that Jesus did not die on the cross appears in the Quran.

As for St. Paul, he is referred to in turn as a “criminal” and “treacherous Jew” who “intentionally sought to deviate the monotheistic Nazarenes in order to tarnish Jesus’ name – even if it meant Paul’s own persecution.” The Holy Trinity being an essential concept of St. Paul’s writings is a form of polytheism, according to Islamic State jihadists, one intended to deceive Christians.

The issue spends much of its time attempting to convert “Unitarians” – Christians who do not believe in the Holy Trinity – while arguing that these Christians were mostly purged by the Roman Church. It claim the “debate between Trinitarians and Unitarians reached the heights of popularity during the fourth century of the Christian calendar.” The issue ignores the continued existence of Unitarian churches, perhaps because the phrase in modern America has taken to mean any rejection of Trinitarianism, and the largest church identifying with the term in the United States, the Unitarian Universalist church, explicitly rejects imposing exclusively Christian doctrine on its members

Jesus never surrendered His power to us, satan, Allah or any body else. He has full trust of God. This is all interesting. When I was in Turkey earlier this year, I went to the House of Mary near Ephesus. What was surprising was both the number of Muslims paying homage to Mary and the number of heavily armed Turkish security troops at the area.

Our Muslim guide explained that Mary is revered in the Qur'an and she had multiple chapters in the book devoted to her. He said the Muslim view of Jesus is different than Christians, but he is still viewed as a prophet.

From what I saw most of the people praying at the House of Mary and asking her to intercede with God on their behalf by placing requests on paper and putting it on a wall were Muslim.

It’s not just Muslims who try to get rid of apostle Paul. I’ve read people on this forum cast the same doubt on him. It would be one thing if Paul had called himself, but the fact that he was called by Jesus Christ, AFTER the resurrection, and appointed apostle to the Gentiles gives his words authority. Ignore them and you have ignored GOD.
