PHILADELPHIA For Hillary Clinton, finding thousands of words for her speech Thursday accepting the Democratic presidential nomination will be easy.
Distilling her campaign to a simple few will be harder.
Think of Ronald Reagan boiling down his 1980 campaign to the powerful message, Are you better off than you were four years ago? Or Bill Clintons three main points in 1992: The economy, stupid; change vs. more of the same. Or Barack Obamas in 2008: hope and change.
Yet today, after more than a year of campaigning, has Hillary Clinton been unable to craft a clear, cogent message just a few simple words that distills what her crusade has been all about?
Her whole philosophy, that has been true of her whole life, is that It Takes a Village, Clinton Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri said, referring to the title of one of the nominees books. She believes in an America that is stronger for everyone. Not just those at the top.
But Democratic strategist Marc Farinella said Stronger together was more a commentary on her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, and how divisive his campaign had been.
What is Hillarys vision? he said. Thats all about Trump tearing us apart and Im not going to be Trump. But not being Trump is not going to be enough to win the election.
Theres no mistaking the simplicity and appeal of Trumps Make America great again.
The billionaires message is quick, to the point, and goes to the heart of what his campaign is about: The country has been on a downward slide, become lawless, cows before terrorists and fears offending anyone.

What’s humorous is that she is proposing “change” and her “plan” for the future is supposedly going to solve all the problems. (Problems they cannot admit to)
Lest we forget though, how can she change anything when she was basically in charge and/or agreed with the Obama liberal policies - she’s trapped.
That was my guess.
(Although sometimes I wonder about the second part of that, for both of them...)
Arkancide! It’s what I do.
The simple message of her candidacy is #genitaliamatters.
Vagina
“I am woman”
The catch phrase should be: “Or Else!”
How about “I do not have intent.”
One of the dirty little non-secrets of Trump’s campaign is that he swiped and refined the Obama 2008 playbook and adapted it to a populist message, as opposed to the liberal-leftist message.
Whenever I raise this with liberals I now, they don’t take it very well.
AND 0bama kind of set her up in his speech last night, telling everyone over and over last night about all of his accomplishments, and asking them to vote for her in order to keep up his work.
There is a message but it is not one to say publicly, “Hillary ‘deserves’ the White House for putting up with Bill for all those years PLUS getting snookered by Barrack who TRUMPed her ‘Gender Card’ with his ‘Skin Card’!” Obama himself says she was more qualified (now that he is termed out) than anyone else EVER, which includes Bill as well!
Problem is that it is a house of cards and within is an empty pantsuit! Try making a message out of that without it being something like “I am WOMAN, hear me WHINE!”
“I am not a crook!”
Wasn’t that copyrighted years ago by Richard Nixon?
Hardly a ringing endorsement even back then. And Herself has so far exceeded the master on so many levels, one is surprised that Herself has spoken of Nixon with so much scorn over the years.
She should steal something from Warren Zevon. One of these has to work as a slogan:
“I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead”
“Lawyers, Guns and Money”
“A Certain Girl”
“Jeannie Needs a Shooter”
“Gorilla, You’re a Desperado”
“Let Nothing Come Between You”
“Sentimental Hygiene”
“Reconsider Me”
“Detox Mansion”
“Bad Karma”
“Leave My Monkey Alone”
“Run Straight Down”
“Splendid Isolation”
“Finishing Touches”
“Searching for a Heart”
“Rottweiler Blues”
“Poisonous Lookalike”
“Mutineer”
“I Was in the House When the House Burned Down”
“Porcelain Monkey”
“Back in the High Life Again”
“Disorder in the House”
“Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”
She might not have a message, but it looks like anonymous has a message for her.
Hillary Clinton is the most experienced presidential candidate in history and Tim Kaine claims that he speaks Spanish fluently (although that has not been demonstrated in a Spanish language press conference). That is the message. Trust them. They know what is best for all of us.
She also promises pot for every closeted alcoholic lesbian ....
Michael Jackson was at least pretty....
