Also, dont fool around with people who handle your food, just an tip.
Bkmrk.
I’m so sick of the “white” people cracks. “Over-Privileged white people?” as opposed to over-privileged black, latino,asian,indian,?...if you don’t want your race, religion, whatever inserted and knocked, don’t do it to anyone else.
Completely unacceptable.
By the way, I get the article - it is right on about the brattiness of many. You can tell much about a person watching the way they treat people who can do nothing for them.
I have worked in restaurants and that is a true statement. I'm surprised more people don't know it.
This should have been linked to the site rather than copied and pasted in its entirety

True dat!!!
Yep.
Don’t do it.
And do be those people who show up to eat two minutes before closing.
Your business is neither wanted nor appreciated.
Why? If I did it that way, others would have complained.
rockrr's note: if youre reading this and NOT going HOW DARE ALAN NOT CALL OUT THE ASSHOLE TO HIS FACE, you are an idiot. Thank you!
the great american public....but i will tell you that newly arrived immigres from India are far far worse
I suspect people who never worked food service or retail have no idea how many idiots and jerks there are in the world.
I used to work at walmart. You could write a book about the trolls dressed up as customers who frequent walmart.
I’ve worked them both. Trolls love walmart.
If you are not a nice person to the waitress, you are not a nice person.
I believe everyone should work 6 months of retail and 6 months in restaurant service, mandatory. Maybe it would give people more appreciation for the people who work in these jobs. I was in a department store’s dressing room once and heard a mom tell her daughter to just throw the garments she didn’t want on the floor, because that’s what the staff gets paid for. Nice, huh?
Had the OP done that, FR's numerous Self-Appointed Blog Pimp Police would have started their bitching that it was excerpted.
One thing I came to realize, the biggest jerks tended to be on the "left" side of the political fence.
On June 17th, I had a fairly bad motorcycle accident. Every time a met a new nurse in the ER, I asked her how her evening was going. Several were quite shocked I expressed an interest in them when I was the one so hurt.
It always help to be nice.
truth!
