Except in court, then if it’s their word against yours, the court takes their side EVERY time unless you can produce exculpatory evidence.

Whatever happened to innocent unless proven guilty? Guess not if they take the cop's word at face value. Anyway, I hate having to go to traffic court to fight a ticket where the cop lies. I get the ticket thrown out, but it's a waste of my time to appear. I've had witnesses sign a statement for me, and that usually does the trick. When I was working for the police, they would tell me to let them toss them for me. All of the stops were when I was younger, haven't been bothered when I got older.
