As a Catholic, this has hit me very hard - not that I am not shocked and angry at all the attacks. But an elderly priest; how awful. And what about the nuns?
Catholic Churches in France, while not very crowded like most western churches, offer some of the most beautiful Masses on the face of the earth. Choirs and violin-playing nuns are not unusual. The French sense of beauty is very strong.
I hope this priest is in paradise. Please God!
