It took the FRENCH coming in on our side in a big way to take this country. There is a reason we have a bunch of counties, cities, and towns named Lafayette and Fayetteville, and had Spruance class destroyer named “USS Comte de Grasse.”
The Europeans had multiple generations of men destroyed in WWI and WII. That is where the problen lies.
The people left in Germany and France are those who choose to stay in the home country and not migrate to the new world. The smart money left decades ago.
They expect the US will save their butts again. And again.
