What gets me is the talking heads in the media are saying how “dark” and “dystopia” his speech was, indicating they think everything is lovely. Isn’t this the same crowd that just was ranting and raving how out of control the police were and how we’re going down the toilet?

The speech will connect with everyone who understands that we are indeed living in a dark dystopia — the Supreme Court legislates, the Legislature cowers, and the People are ruled by a lawless caudillo via executive orders. Awfully hard to present that reality with a happy face.
Things are lovely for the establishment media heads. Chauffeurs, limos, checking accounts, parties, expensive booze, great health care plans, nice hotels and homes. . .
It’s a VERY dark speech if you’re a crook, or a crook-enabler.
Yup. Dystopia is when you can’t say all lives matter without getting fired from your job.
