Corey Menafee says he destroyed the window inside Calhoun College in New Haven, Connecticut, last month because he found it offensive. The name of the residential college has sparked protests because it honors former Vice President John C. Calhoun, an 1804 Yale graduate and an ardent defender of slavery. Menafee apologized for breaking the window. Yale said it was willing to let him return to work next week.

That he would return[I am not going to say, to work because I do not believed he worked in the first place] is a no brainer. He was an affirmative action. Of course he is going back.

East coast elite schools often hire people from mental institutions - some real basketcase types for the grunt labor work. Makes them feel good about themselves. By all means - I’m sure they feel right at home with gratitude and thanks.

I knew it. Yale wanted that stained glass gone. They just didn’t have the guts to do it themselves, so they went through this charade to get it done.
