What amazes me is that these truly demented Cruzbots actually think they will benefit from rules changes in 4 years. Are you kidding me? After Trump’s 8 years then comes Eric. I would not vote for Cruz now if he was the last man on earth. These people are finished. I fully expect him to get beat in Texas by Gov. Greg Abbott. I hope that happens. This Cruz guy has no integrity or class what so ever. I will not watch his speech. I don’t think he is all there?

If the Cruzlims really cared about the conservative rules changes they would have dropped the unbind nonsense. That was never going to happen. They just wanted a wedge issue as cover to drive the Cruz campaign bus onto the convention floor. They can all DIAF. I’m done with them.
Cruz was actually my first choice until Trump got into the race and for most of the race I would have been fine if either one of them won. Even after Cruz's games trying to run the table with unelected delegates in the primary, I still considered him a solid conservative and somebody I would have no problem voting for one day. But his antics since the primary ended, undermining Trump, supporting (or at a minimum not condemning) what his followers are pulling at the convention and breaking his pledge not to support Trump have pretty much turned me into a "broken glass" #NeverCruz'er. I wonder if he and his supporters realize that they are losing the very conservatives they will need most of all in the 2020/2024 primary?
All I can say is that Cruz has a very slim window left to get even a shred of my respect back. During his convention speech he better come out and give the most whole-hearted, enthusiastic endorsement of Trump in history and spend from now until election night campaigning for him, then and only then...I might...consider supporting him one day.
