Well, I would tend to agree with you on how the election goes. Nonetheless, I still question our ability to stand behind the patriot moniker, for a number of reasons, not the least of which that we are slaves to debt and too worried about sacrificing our 'stuff'.

Like the movie ‘The Patriot’, there was a ‘tipping point’. We are close to that point. But it could reverse during this election cycle and the aftermath.
