You mean Mike Lee, right?
Re; best ground operation of any GOP campaign this year,
In the SC and SEC primary Cruz had thousands of potential volunteers. But the Cruz staff had no clue what to do with them. After Red State, thousands of us Cruz supporters flocked to Newnan. The Cruz staff had no clue how to use us.
My daughter organized 200 people to Hispanic Patriots to hear Rafael Cruz. I talked to the Cruz staffers there. They were totally clueless.
If Cruz had had a ground game, he would have won SC and SEC primaries and set a totally different direction to the campaign.
Agreed. And on that note, I find the whole “God chose me” act incredibly egotistical (at best) and/or condescending.
The last thing we need is someone with a Messiah complex.
There was an article in the middle of the primaries about the Cruz family praying together for hours until “the word” came through Heidi Cruz. I find it very creepy. In my experience most of the righteous people I know are quiet about it.
I guess I’m using B. Arnold as more of a generic personification of personal ambition over moral values and apparent selfless causes. I guess to that extent it’s a good comparison. B.A. came to mind because I just read about him and saw his depiction last night on “Legends and Lies.” Sort of rings a bell. Don’t know of better comparative character that rings the same kind of bell, but if there is one, please share it.
Try Ergodan. Or for a more American (fictional) example, Elmer Gantry.
I am still a fan of the pre-primary Cruz. Actually, a fan of the Cruz that existed until sh*t got ugly with Donald. He still has a chance with me, but it all depends on what he does at the convention. I hope, and can envision, a stance where he sticks to his convictions and his ideals, but is still able to endorse Donald, because the alternative is horrifying.
If one does not have the maturity or character to sit on the bench then it doesn’t matter how book smart or high of an IQ that individual has. And it doesn’t matter what judicial bench. Sen. Cruz bitterly let me down. I had thought better of him. No other stats need to be cited to confirm my opinion.
Oh. I almost forgot. A bad imitation of Juan Peron.
I guess. I think there’s a certain ring to Benedict Arnold in this context, his feats notwithstanding.
You’ve highlighted the exact point I quit reading. Just another lie from Pollutico.
Cruz got his a$$ beat in the south. Period.
cRuz must have a love affair with his own a$$. He keeps getting it handed to him.
Court appointments should have NOTHING to do with “deals”. Besides, Trump owes him nothing.
Lol!
What an unmitigated ass! This is even more tone deaf than an obama move. What an arrogant, self centered fool of a weasel.
Supreme Court is the right place for Cruz.
And it’s a smart political move.
He’s a creep and needs to be cut. Sorry, but that’s my opinion.
He is a rat ba$tard traiter.
