I am not a big Jack Daniels fan. My own preference being for bourbon (Makers Mark) or a good single malt scotch.

Jack Daniels is disgusting. I suspect they are winning on price point.

Sorry. It’s is best if used in larger quantities than you might be used to. It’s a known fact that the bottom part of the bottle is better than the top.

The price of many of the high end single malt scotches has been rising steadily for years. There’s a limit to what many people will pay for a bottle of whiskey. Jack Daniels is simply more affordable.

The fact that a place with "UK" initials prefers
Tennessee whiskey makes this ole Wildcats fan sad.

My buddy bought me a shot of Johnny Walker Blue a couple of weeks ago, real smooth but it was still scotch.

I’d of rather he saved his money and just bought me a Jim Beam instead..

Bourbon is gaining in popularity all over the world. Japanese drink the hell out of Bourbon.

Glad to hear you are sober. It is a hard thing.
Whenever I drink some kind of corn-derived alcohol (excepting moonshine of that persuasion, for some odd reason) it makes me think I should get sober. Of all the crazy, most troublesome things I have done in my life, the common unifying element is some kind of whiskey/bourbon/scotch etc.
That stuff definitely affects you differently than tequila, beer, or wine. No idea why, but for me, it does.
