Also the prices of chopped meat/ground beef-— or hamburger meat. Years ago it was quite cheap and these days way too overpriced. Same with hamburger patties— utterly ridiculous in prices these days.

It’s pretty often now that roasts, pork chops, ribs are cheaper per pound than hamburger these days.
How much is a pound of ground beef these days ? Here in Japan we buy a pork/beef mix ( australian ) and it’s about 3 buckeroos a pound .
