When unemployment was 4.5% under Bush and the GOP Congress, all the MSM could talk about was how bad things were. After Americans were suckered into voting for a Democrat Congress in 2006, the economy tanked, and guess who the MSM blamed.

Of course, it may have helped if Bush and the GOP would have defended themselves, but they were too busy reaching across the aisle and trying to make nice with the Democrats for that.
