Terrible idea, but I understand what you're saying. This would have been useful two decades ago, but currently, it's entirely the wrong mindset we need from a leader, IMO. All of the above is already a given, and does not need to be repeated at this juncture.
Hammer away on the weaknesses of the opposition that people care about most, don't try to impose your differences that, while mattering, are “nitpicking” and are just not that useful.
Stick to the overall strategy that has gotten him where he is now.
Any solution architected by men is going to have flaws.
The big problem we have, is that what we call conservative has almost entirely lost the ability to speak out of the love aspect of the gospel. The left took (and twisted) this, out of it being left to them by default. The nature of dialogue, like other natures, abhors a vacuum. Something is drawn to fill it.
