The fact that feminists want it to be OK to not engage in that is an extension of the “free stuff” ideal.

Unless talking about water weight or a lymphatic condition, it is as simple as using more calories than one consumes. No matter how bad ones thyroid is, you will not gain weight on a 1500 calorie a day diet.
