in general, I maybe should’ve written for the exception of thyroid problems, but with a diet and exercise, one has self-determination over their weight. However, moderating those require hard work. The fact that feminists want it to be OK to not engage in that is an extension of the “free stuff” ideal.

Not the case with height.

Unless talking about water weight or a lymphatic condition, it is as simple as using more calories than one consumes. No matter how bad ones thyroid is, you will not gain weight on a 1500 calorie a day diet.
