Say what you will.
I find that for a multitude of reasons the *only* way to fly
is with a traditional desktop and a full size keyboard.
A keyboard that clicks when you depress actual keys that move.
Grated this is personal.
But you know what they say about guys who have a size 12
ring finger and wear 2XL gloves .....
They need old fashioned keyboards.
Aging eyes also appreciate the 17” Hi-Res display.
And for mobility?
Ever hear of “I’ll call you back later?”

I compose music, and use Finale. I also write books, and use Word. I just cannot imagine being able to sanely, efficiently do either one on anything but my dinosaur of a tower. I hate touch screens; I’m always getting the wrong result.
(I loved dinosaurs as a boy, especially the Ceratopsians. I gave my 7th grade oral report on them, replete with passably good drawings of each. I didn’t actually hear the girls in class snoring.)
In my opinion, the modern tablet is primarily for consumption; I am more interested in production.
