There should be audio/video from the cop. We’ll see.

Nope. According to their chief, their officers don't have body cams.

So I heard. Did the Chief say anything about this?

Why are Falcon Heights LEOs handcuffing suspects who were just directly involved in fatal shooting, and putting them into the back of their cruisers without searching them? I never heard of someone who is handcuffed, who is broadcasting from their own cell phone from the back seat of a patrol unit while handcuffed.

No bueno.

One other thing, did the Chief mention that LEOs all over the country for years now routinely carry their own audio recorders for their own protection in traffic stops?

And the reason I asked the question in 132, is because the LEO obviously had no idea where these two just came from or if they’d just committed a major crime before the stop, and or if they were both possibly armed. He had no idea.

If someone is directly involved, and in the same vehicle where a cop felt threatened enough to shoot the passenger to death, why in tarnation would ya handcuff them and put them into the unit without a search first?

More than one cop has been shot to death by a prisoner or detained person who was cuffed from the back seat of a police vehicle because they were not searched or searched thoroughly.
