Is she/he/it also a fluid gender?

A rehash of the 1980s Marvel Iron Man story when Tony Stark quits and Rhodie (current War Machine) takes over the role of Iron Man. The House Of Ideas should be re-nicknamed the House of Re-Hashed Ideas.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

This should go over at least as well as the black Johnny Stormm in the Fantastic Four ...

Comics do this kind of stuff all the time. They’ve been doing it for decades. No big deal.

“Riri is a science genius who enrolls in MIT at the age of 15.”
Right, because there are so many women and minorities in STEM fields.
Oh well, the Hulk will still kick her butt up and down the street.

PS: The 80s storyline where Rhodes takes over the Iron Man armor made sense story logic wise. He was a pilot and worked closely with Tony Stark. The idea that Stark would trust a stranger - even a good person at heart and a genius in college - with a weapon he does not trust to the US govt just is stupid. It is a dumbing down of plot narrative for Marvel.
