First off, lots of what GB did that this idiot writes of was BECAUSE of the Revolution.

I think that Canada, Aus, etc - all basically English-based peoples - owe the US their so-called independence. Never again did GB make that mistake. Instead they started ceding some autonomy to these pseudonations rather than losing their resources altogether. Much more amicable - because they don’t want to piss off their people ever again.

Never mind the slave and Indian stuff. GB itself was not heavily involved in slavery, just let it happen. For them it was no big deal, and seeing what was happening in the colonies, probably thought it wise to stop where it had been allowed.

As far as many Indians allying with GB, that was because GB was 1000 miles away. Indians of course had biggest trouble with their immediate neighbors. That does not mean more Brits coming in would not slaughter them. Anymore than it means French were nicer than English because they allied with French!
