Don’t I have the right to know that when I go to McDonald’s the worker spitting on my food is not HIV positive?

Assuming that is the reason for the termination. Wouldn’t be the first time an employee fired for cause dealt the disability card.
And I wonder if that employee had their food handlers card revoked.
um.. people with contagious diseases probably shouldn’t be working in food prep!

Whatever this costs McD’s pales in comparison to the litigation costs of people suing if they contracted HIV/AIDS from this employee...
The HIV employee obviously worked at a hot dog stand before McDonalds and got the wrong weenie in his buns.
I can remember when blood tests for diseases were required for food handlers and also for getting married. Still seems like a good idea.
This whole Country is upside down right now...
WE, as paying customers DO have the RIGHT to know WHO is preparing our food...
Another reason to stay home and fix your own...
Maybe what we all should do, is sell our homes, whatever we can, move to the hills and plant our food and raise our own chickens, and eat off the land...that way we know who and what is in our food...and water...and we would be a lot better off!!!

The employee that called out the worker with HIV should be charged and fired. What a creep for doing that. That is the worst part of the story.

Their advertisements "Ahm Luvin' It" are very unappealing. and somewhat anti-white.
A few years ago we went to a McD's to get some coffee and the paper that they use on the trays was advertising to minorities ONLY for management training. Black, Latino, and some other non-white whatever.
Their current radio ad campaigns in our area are the same. It is their attempt to target the traditional Burger King patrons.
They don't want white customers? Fine, happy to oblige! We are better off for it as well. Crappy food and generally a good location (besides ihop and waffle house) for brawls.

Just because they are emotionally ill (crazy), have a communicable disease and love to stuff strange and unusual things up their butts doesn't give you the right make them stop preparing and serving food to you and your family.....s/
This company needs to counter sue the EEOC for ruining their business. Anyone with a brain should know you don’t have people who are HIV positive working in food preparation. Letting that employee go in that situation was not discrimination;it was common sense.Now I’m wondering if any HIV cases will result from someone who has eaten there in the past & what that might portend. Wonder if the EEOC would back an employee on discrimination charges if said employee was a known terrorist?
