Same with the various Congressional hearings. Issa and Gowdy have had several that produced nothing, but taxpayers got the invoices for them.
Too many politicians and government officials are apprehensive [scared s*itless] of the Clinton Machine. It has been imbedding itself in power positions for 2 decades.

Savage on Gretchen Carlson/Roger Ailes thinks it is the uppers at FoxNews/News Corp who are actually positioning to get rid of Ailes.
Per a related thread this morning, it seems she filed the lawsuit AFTER she was dismissed/fired from FoxNews. One post said her contract was up on June 23 (IIRC). Some other comments said her contract was not renewed after contract negotiations fell through. Some commented that she was released because she would not follow the party line.
My comment in an earlier thread: Poor ratings?
