Vanity: In Donald We Trust

Posted on 07/04/2016 7:52:34 AM PDT by Mean Daddy

A lot of us are counting on others to take out Hillary. Whether it be the FBI, the media or her own party, after all, that’s what conservatives do. Unfortunately, there are several truths in life. Democrats will always lookout for Democrats and those in the media will do the same.

Donald Trump doesn’t count on or rely on others. Sure, in the debates, the facilitators will lob the occasional softball to give Hillary a chance to say, “what difference does it make?” Or to say that the FBI cleared her of any wrongdoing.

What we forget is that the Donald doesn’t count on others to make his luck. That’s why we like him, like we liked Ronald Reagan. Whether it was Reagan arguing with professors to allow student protestors or telling Mr. Gorbachev to tear down this wall, Trump won’t be controlled.

Our problem, along with the Democrats and media, is we don’t play by the same rules as Mr. Trump. We want to be on same level of play, we want Democrats to self-police like we do when one of our own get out of line or we want the media to ask the same tough questions that they ask of us.

Just like Reagan, Trump knows that the Democrats and media will behave in a way to protect Hillary. Short of not televising the debates, the reality is Trump will make his own luck and reality during the debates. He instinctively knows that too, that’s why regardless of their biases, the powers that be in the media are motivated by money and ratings and the Clinton/Trump debates promise to be a show as Trump will not disappoint by playing by their rules.

I personally believe that Trump will do their dirty work and beat her like a drum.

You're not alone.

Actually you're part of a vast multitude.

(the word 'vast' chosen purposefully)

From what we have seen in Trump this past year, beating 16 other candidates; the media twits; the GOPe; the RINOs; yeah I would say he’s going to play by his own rules...

It won’t matter to him what questions they ask, he will answer his way, thus throwing ‘herself’ off base and the ‘panel of media twits’ to fend for themselves as the American People are jumping up and down!!!

GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!

Please everyone, he can’t do it alone. Please donate directly to the Trump campaign, as much as you can. We shouldn’t expect him to carry the load alone. Not feasible, not fair.

Why do you guys think that conservatives often feel the need to say something self deprecating before they make a good conservative point or positively support their candidate?

For example, “I know Trump says outlandish and provocative things, but he’s better than Hillary.”

“”I don’t agree with everything Bush did, but he certainly seems to love America more than this guy.”

“That whole spate of Republican nominees were a bunch of flawed misfits, but everyone is better qualified than the 2 socialists the rats put up there.”

Why do we always do this to ourselves? Is it just to show that we are looking at both sides before making a positive declaration?

I find it frustrating.

Any thoughts?

Donald is no substitute for God. . but I get your drift.
If this country doesn’t start doing a 180 degrees and turn back to God we are in for grave times. God’s hedge of protection is being lifted from this country I fear. We have been a country given over to a reprobate mindset. Sounds like doom and gloom? Well think about it! There is only one Hope for everyone and I believe Donald Trump is getting it. . .. http://www.thereishopeinjesus.com/

As I read the Declaration of Independence today, I finally realized that Donald is fulfilling a role taken up by so many others. He has pledged his life, his fortune and his Sacred Honor to the task. He, like the Founders really has much more to lose than he has to gain.

Trust but verify. Impossible with Hillary, for either!
