Haven’t made it to Gettysburg yet, but have been to Antietam several times. Spirits are strong there & I’m not normally into that sort of thing. I an deeply moved/affected every visit.

Been there many years ago, It's awesome. Sadly developers are clamoring like hell to build a hotel and casino on part of the battle field. Other Civil War sites are suffering the same fate. While you're at it, stop off at President Eisenhower's ranch. It's well worth the visit.

My sister and her husband work on the Gettysburg battlefield and most of my extended family lives in or near the town. I don’t care how often I am there, I still get still get a very uneasy feeling as soon as I step on the grounds.
