Why is it ‘not cool’ to dive off of the diving board into the clearly marked deep end of the pool?
I think it’s because the impatient black kid dove in before the white girl had cleared the area. Notice that the other white girl is waiting to get up on the diving board. Just a guess. So racess.
Because the diver is too close to another swimmer.

He didn't wait for the girl to clear the area before diving. Note that the "cool" girl next in line is waiting for him to finish his dive before getting on the springboard.
Actually the rule is probably NO DIVING. These days they hate diving. In public it’s often not allowed.
Further evidenced by the fact there are no “diving” boards alloewed for sale anymore! They are ALL short pointless “springboards” or something. Mere platfirms.
Glad my parents still have their old long board. They must’ve bought this 2nd one in 40 years just before the ban.
