Just another reason to stay out of the water.

Luckily, found only in rivers and streams in Southeast Asia, where most folk probably wouldn’t want to go swimming anyway.

The only creature or bug in the world that I'll go on a search-and- destroy mission for is a centipede. I've torn a room apart to get one. I'm perfectly fine with spiders. If I find one in the house, I'll put it outside. Snakes are cool, in my book , but no centipedes.

The first human degenerate leech can be found in the White Hut....if it’s not on vacation. The one interesting fact about this particular degenerate is that there is not one redeeming grace about it. Ever action is one of evil and depravity.

Then, there’s the Hillary degenerate leech.

Take a look at the inner video showing one of these big guys fighting a Fieldmouse who needs food for her newborn mouse-lettes. Spoiler Alert: The Fieldmouse wins!

In have a picture somewhere of this guy at some outpost in Vietnam holding up a dead centipede that is at least that long. There was a nice thought to contemplate along with the VC as you settled down in your foxhole for the night.

We’ve got all sorts of creepy-crawlies here in NC, but very few centipedes, and even those are small and I believe harmless. I’d hate to have to be on the lookout for those things, or scorpions. Don’t have those either. We’re outside fire ant range, for now, but they’re slowly migrating in this direction, have been for decades.

Great. Crocodiles that climb trees. Monitor lizards that open doors.

Now centipedes that can swim after you when you jump in the water to get away.

Might as well go to the Great Barrier Reef, chum the waters for some Great White Sharks, and jump in when they arrive.

I remember when Mary Lou said
“You wanna walk me home from school”
And I said, “Yes, I do”

She said, “I don’t have to go right home
And I’m the kind that likes to be alone
As long as you would”
I said, “Me, too”

And so we took a stroll
Wound up down by the swimmin’ hole
And she said, “Do what you want to do”
I got silly and I found a frog
In the water by a hollow log
And I shook it at her
And I said “This frog’s for you”

She said, “I don’t like spiders and snakes
And that ain’t what it takes to love me
You fool, you fool
I don’t like spiders and snakes
And that ain’t what it takes to love me
Like I want to be loved by you”

Well, I think of that girl from time to time
I call her up when I got a dime
I say, “Hello, baby”
She says, “Ain’t you cool”
I say, “Do you remember when
“And would you like to get together again”
She says, “I’ll see you after school”

I was shy and so for a while
Most of my love was touch and smile
Til she said, “Come on over here”
I was nervous as you might guess
Still looking for somethin’ to slip down her dress
And she said, “Let’s make it perfectly clear”

She said, “I don’t like spiders and snakes
And that ain’t what it takes to love me
You fool, you fool
I don’t like spiders and snakes
And that ain’t what it takes to love me
Like I want to be loved by you”

They’re big, they’re bad, and they’re poisonous.

But I’d still rather meet up with one of these brutes that those little South American fish that likes to wiggle into places no fish should go....

There was a nice thought to contemplate along with the VC as you settled down in your foxhole for the night.

They loved the holes and niches in bunker sandbag walls. Uou learned not to lean on then for too long. Remember a guy had one crawl into his trousers from the sandbags.
