It’ll be interesting to see if traditional break-downs apply.
I’m guessing this is more of an “American” vs “Hyphenated-American” election. The election depends on if gay-americans, black-americans, female-americans, latino-americans, other-oppressed-americans consider themselves an American first or a hyphen first. I think Trump will bring out the “American” in a lot of hyphenated-people who can’t admit it publicly. Being more than a hyphen is the one thing Democrats can find shame in but being a hyphen hasn’t helped so while they can’t admit it they can vote for Trump.
