The story says trainees must learn the difference between “gender identity” and “gender expression.”
Gender identity= the “gender” (actually, sex) you think you are.
Gender expression= how you dress.
It is now possible to “identify” one way, and while “expressing” exactly the opposite.
So, IOW, they have now given themselves permission to continue dressing like men, while “identifying” as women, or vice versa-—secretly!
They don’t even need to present themselves as androgynous, implying some sort of transitional, in-between phase.
They can speak, behave, and dress like macho lumberjacks, while insisting that their true inner ballerina has been violated.
Woe to the hapless fireman who assumes he is carrying an unconscious man out of a burning building, just because the person looks and is DRESSED like a man!
Goodbye job, hello lawsuit.
All this is, is lawfare, plain and simple, designed to create artificial chaos, stack the deck in favor of the left, and bankrupt the country.
I’m pretty sure that all of the city workers who work at the city sewerage treatment plant know everything there is to know about “transgender pronouns”. They should get a pass on this fiasco.

Actually, that’s the only one that is biologically valid, IOW the person really is “born that way” and can’t help it, with partially developed genitalia of both male and female.

Hemorphraditism is a genetic anomaly which has been directly linked to incest, so the Biblical admonishment against incest is not only morally sound, it’s also been proven to be scientifically correct by mapping through the genome project.
There is a wonderfully entertaining and compassionate novel called Middlesex, by Jeffrey Eugenides which is about a girl and her Greek immigrant family, who only find out she is male when she is 17. The girl herself did not even suspect.
The family history in an isolated Greek village, and subsequent flight from a massacre during wartime, led to unfortunate choices which in turn caused the grandchild’s condition.
I liked the book and learned from it.
