In the first few minutes, Ann Barnhart touches on one of my pet peeves expressed on FR on how the media and others approach Islam by calling the Muslim fundamentalists radical or extremists.

Here is a copy of an e- mail I sent to Boston's right wing radio host on WRKO, Jeff Kuhner, awhile ago about that same subject.

"Hi Jeff
You refer to these fundamental Muslims who are doing what Allah and Muhammad want done to us Kafirs as radicals. These Muslims are following the fundamentals of Islam. They are back to basics fundamentalists, not radicals or extremists.

Radical implies they are at variance with basic Muslim teaching. In short, some form of Islamic heresy.

These Muslims willing to kill us and die for Islam for an eternal reward from Allah are not doing anything different than Muhammad and the Caliphs right after Muhammad did, and set the example for all Muslims to follow, to please Allah and further spread the religion worldwide.

Since Muhammad’s day, Muslims have not received any orders from Allah to do things differently.

Remember it is not what you or I believe, or don’t believe, about supernatural beings, it is what fundamental Muslims believe that is our problem. - Tom"

Tom here- Ann is more eloquent than I , but I believe Ann and I would not have any disagreements about the Islamic threat Islam poses to us naive Kafirs. -tom
