As I recall founded by a liberal couple who infiltrated the realm of the “impartial”.
They aren’t to be believed as well as Politifact, IMO.
I am ALWAYS suspicious of any organization or person that claim to be “impartial” and/or “non-partisan.”
Dang. I thought snoops was out of business.
That’s good work ferreting that out.
I remember reading about how they were able to debunk every case of Arkancide. Pretty impressive seeing as how they would have no access to police files on any of the cases.
LOL! Exactly!
Are we there yet?
And she’s the one who could drop a few....not the cat.
poor cat.
Do any of these cases pertain to Obama’s citizenship?
I picked the first listed to research: http://www.supremecourt.gov/Search.aspx?FileName=/docketfiles/09-8857.htm
You can see that this came from United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, case number 09-5103
Here is the judgement from that case (09-5103): https://www.cadc.uscourts.gov/internet/judgments.nsf/344CC65923D0BB4E85257FCD00409B1B/$file/09-5103-1212928.pdf
That case was an appeal of a January 4, 2008 dismissal: https://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/district-of-columbia/dcdce/1:2008cv00013/129093/3
What was dismissed? A civil complaint against George Bush.
I’m not inclined to research the two other cases listed.
fat cat is the one on the right ?
This is what is meant when people rightly say that the "Media" is dead.
Say what???
I have also send carefully researched information to Snopes, and it never appears. Example: Their entry on the Trump judge Curiel matter—they refuse to print even facts which have now been confirmed with actual documents (the judge’s Senate confirmation questionnaire and the Hispanic National Bar Association press release on its own website) — to wit, they refuse to print that the group in which the judge holds life membership instituted a boycott of Trump’s businesses on 7/2/15.
They also refuse to print that the founder of the La Raza Lawyers is quoted in his NY Times obituary as saying all white people should leave California, etc.
Snopes is just another liberal website masquerading as the truth. No doubt about it whatsoever.
( . ..founded by a liberal couple who infiltrated the realm of the impartial.)
Well said,
This is Americas ‘Ministry of Truth’
Three places to not believe when it comes to politics or ideology: Snopes, Politifact, and Wikipedia.
The protagonist of the novel, Winston Smith, is a member of the Outer Party, who works for the Ministry of Truth (or Minitrue in Newspeak), which is responsible for propaganda and historical revisionism. His job is to rewrite past newspaper articles, so that the historical record always supports the party line.[5] The instructions that the workers receive specify the corrections as fixing misquotations and never as what they really are: forgeries and falsifications. A large part of the ministry also actively destroys all documents that have been edited and do not contain the revisions; in this way, no proof exists that the government is lying.
