Lewandowski and Manafort
I don't know, man. Trump and Lebowski just pulled off the greatest, least expected victory in the history of US politics.
That might sound exaggerated or hyperbole, but it is not.
You should hear Larry Elder go through it. Elder points out there were 16 other candidates, all of them heavyweights. Trump, of whom Elder said was his choice 17 of 17 at the beginning, was given no chance to win, no credibility by anyone.
He was facing sitting Governors, sitting Senators, former Governors, candidates with huge war chests etc...
And Trump had never run for any office ever.
And Trump wiped the floor with all of them. One by one they all fell.
It is the greatest, most surprising and amazing victory ever in US political history. Nothing else compares to it.
So what happens?
The guy who pulled off this victory with Trump is replaced with a former advisor to Dole 96.
Deputy political director....he worked with Nofziger
Not all titles are indicative
Let’s say you are correct and Manafort is just another Rove...Trump is still his own man. He has spent time with Paul and knows what he wants done
The only ones all het up about this seem to be the lame stream media
Plus tell me what Cory has run nationally
So Manafort is currently 3 wins, 3 losses. Not bad, I suppose. I’ll say this, it’s far better than Bob Shrum, whose Indian name is Oh-For-Eight.
“Plus tell me what Cory has run nationally”
He just ran the most successful national campaign in American history.
It’s weird you don’t know the difference between national and general. The primary they just won historically was national.
It is also weird to me that Trump supporters would turn on Lebowski in such a way at the drop of a hat.
ANYTHING to throw shade on Trump and try to bring him down. And brazenly use FREE REPUBLIC as your platform. And a freaking VANITY. Shame.
Not for policy, but for structure..
-How to set up swing state organization
-How to set up a nationwide GOTV organizations.
-How to solicit money for the campaign..
-How to set up a media response team...
However good Lewandowski was in helping Trump win, he has a far too large of a learning curve...
If he was getting in the way of these things happening, he needed to go...
“It is also weird to me that Trump supporters would turn on Lebowski in such a way at the drop of a hat.”
I know... It’s almost like they trust The Donald to make good decisions. Weird.
To my knowledge the Globalists/North American Union/Open Border RINO types are praising the move.
Dilbert says it was done to persuade the RNC that Trump would present a “presidential vibe” like the GOPe has been saying he has to do.
“I know... Its almost like they trust The Donald to make good decisions. Weird.”
That is a good response.
Jeb Bush and Lindsay Graham were 'heavyweights'??? HA!
Politics is like football, once your opponents have adjusted to your running quarterback, it's time to switch to a passing quarterback...........
Or so it seems ...
And primaries are different than the general certainly you understand that
Each primary is a race unto itself
The fact that you don’t recognize that there are rule differences from state to state shows me much
I did not turn on Cory. No one turned on him. Trump gave him a role under Manafort. Whatever the reason he is no longer there
Oddly enough you seem to give Cory way more credit than Trump for those primary wins
Corey felt he was being replaced with Manafort instead of working WITH Manafort, I believe Corey NEEDED the break when you get this tired and probably have family pulling at you, you can become extremely irritable Trump WILL take care of Corey he WILL have a job in the organization somewhere possibly managing one of the properties, restaurants, or golf courses TRUMP REWARDS LOYALTY!!!! Believe me Corey IS NOT without employment he is an EXTREMELY hard worker and IS LOYAL two traits VERY close to MR. Trumps heart!!!
I agree completely
I don’t think anything to the contrary
If Trump had stuck with Corey and never brought in Manafort, I think everybody involved would have been the better for it.
Thanks.
I see, though, my embarrassing typo, I wrote: “Trump, of whom Elder said was his choice”, when it should have been “Trump, of whom Elder said was NOT his choice”.
Trump got rid of Manafort pretty quick. Conway and Bannon did great.
