I’m going to go against the general consensus here and just say some of the ads in the Tube in London are unbelievably risque. Women practically if not totally naked, I kid you not. I haven’t been back there since the 1970s. I can’t imagine what it’s like now.
I don’t think the new Muslim mayor should become a dictator, but in this instance he brings up a good point. There is no reason to have that type of ads on the walls of the Tube. It’s not like you can change the channel or turn the page or not buy the book. These ads are HUGE.
It may be offensive. I don’t know. You may be right. Can you post some of the pictures that are on the tube. Strictly for serious evidentiary purposes?:-)
Until then, I will just assume that this is just incrementalism and testing the waters.
