I understand, the only mods so far that have added new content for me are the ones that open up boarded buildings or new locations.
I’ve spent most of the games doing Minute Men quests and just finished the main quest last week. I still haven’t visited every location yet. Building settlements consumes a lot of time.
I’ll be traveling to Far Harbor next in order to give the modders a little more time before I try to visit the rest of the map.

Building settlements consumes a lot of time.Yes, it does. The biggest advice I would give others here just starting out is to not leave those "settlement recruitment beacon" things turned on. You want to control how many people are in the settlement, as the game really starts to have issues when you have 20-30 settlements each with 23+ settlers.
Meant to say “Leave those settlement recruitment beacons turned OFF”.
