That was her first mistake; engaging an unusually attired ‘man’ in conversation. Sometimes you go back to the old ‘don’t talk to strangers’. motto. Girls, especially pretty girls have to be even more careful being too friendly to people you have no connection with. You see a man dressed that way, you might presume that he’s looking for attention, and a lot it. Too bad it’s still that way, but it is.
Political correctness. Her parents or schools have told her these types are just and alternative lifestyle. She just found out the truth. Wonder if she still thinks it’s still an “alternative lifestyle”?
PS Metmom, yes it’s not a school thing but it happened at a library where a lot of home schoolers take their kids (from what I’m told anyway)
