A member of the Democratic National Committees 15-person platform drafting committee said during a public meeting on Wednesday that she does not believe that anyone should have a gun.
Bonnie Schaefer, a former retail executive and a progressive philanthropist, said that more should be done to combat gun violence in addition to just keeping the guns out of the hands of mentally ill people and criminals.

But she knows what's good for everybody else.
I HATE LIBERALS!
Excellent point! Celebrate diversity. I have revolvers, pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Hazzah! In our household we celebrate a number of calibers from .22 up to 12 GA. We support both wood and composite stocks, fixed and adjustable. We don’t even discriminate against polymer vs all steel semi-autos. If anything I would say my wife seems a bit partial to Smith & Wesson but Ruger and Colt are in the mix for her too.
A few years back my dad, brother and I hooked up with my uncle to hunt elk. My dad dropped me off at my uncle’s place so I could ride with him.
My uncle is pawing around the back seat of his pickup. I asked what he was doing. He said looking for shells for my 7mm mag. I said how many do you have for that ought six? (on the front seat) 40 or 50. And for your mini 14? (on the dash) A couple hundred. How about for the .45 on your hip? A couple of boxes. But I only have THREE (shells) for the 7mm!
I think that since it will be lovely and cool in the morning, I will go to my range and throw some lead with my girl friend. She is black, has a tactical stock, pistol grip and 30 round mags. Her initials are RRA-LAR. She gets quite hot and we are very intimate.
OK, we expect a detailed after action report on the activity. :-)
But not too detailed, pictures are optional
We all have our philosophies. Mine is that people like Ms. Schaefer who despise our constitution and traditions should get the hell out of the country, permanently.
Recently Australia managed to get away, or take away, tens of thousands, millions, of handguns. In one year they were all gone. Can we do that? If we cant, why cant we? an attendee at a New Hampshire campaign event asked Clinton.
I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level, if that could be arranged, the White House hopeful replied, embracing not only a mandated national buyback program but getting rid of handguns in the United States.
And that's why I carry - if the worst possible scenario happens, I want to have a chance....it will likely involve a bad guy.....with his own gun.
