That's not enough to win the election.
Romney won voters over 50.
That wasn't enough to win either.
It's not the 80s any more, and we can't win votes by complaining about the 60s or 70s to people who weren't even born then.
When I heard a the clip the first time, I immediately thought she stuck her foot in her mouth.
You can’t get anymore backwards than Obama
Hillary dear, Many of the leftist changes will be simply erased. We have your leaders precedence that we don’t have to follow the laws ( immigration, border controls, court mandates, illegal drugs) so we will just ignore your laws too and issue executive orders on things we want and ignore the courts like obama is doing in Texas on his illegal and unconstitutional amnesty. You set the standard that we will follow except they will take our culture and borders and country not backwards— but back from your rape of it. GO TRUMP!!!
When there is a cliff in the forward direction, it only makes sense to move backwards.
...and not "Si se puede."
Let’s not forget an itsy ditsy tennie weenie yellow polka dot bikini. Then MoTown stepped up to the plate with Up on the Roof. Darn, some great recordings came from that era! Remember them well :-)
Really? I pray that you are correct, but I dear the answer is otherwise in today's America, the land of income redistribution.
I say the “Perfect” year in American History was 1955.
I sat that when Ike appointed this BASTARD to the US Supreme Court(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Warren”)the country started DOWNWARD FAST!
There is some stuff in the past that we don’t need to revisit:
1. We polluted our air and rivers horribly. We might have gone too far with current clean air restrictions, but our rivers and lakes were really bad for a while there.
2. There was racial discrimination. Again, we have gone too far into Affirmative Action land, but America wasn’t a great place to live for a lot of blacks in the 1950’s.
I, in no way, wish to revisit the above circumstances. With those two additions (or corrections) I heartily agree with your list.
I'd have to go with 1956. That was the year I was born. More importantly, Frank Sinatra's Songs for Swingin' Lovers! was released in 1956, and he recorded A Swingin' Affair the week I was born. America and the world was a better place with the inclusion of those albums.

5 cent Belly Busters,...24 for a dollar on weekends !!!
That sure sounds Mickey Mouse to me.
Yep, but you know what? I’d settle for a return to the 70s, as yucky as things were then. Nixon may have been a crook but we knew where he was born, kids would get booted from school for talking back to a teacher, and the Woman of the Year actually was one. I’d settle for that again!
BTTT
Ask not what your country can do for you: ask what you can do for your country.

IMO, the slide got a real push start with LBJ and the Great Society. The Boomers couldn't vote in 64. Even a lot of my generation, the Silent Generation couldn't. But some of us could in 68 and more in 72 and we all saw how that turned out. The GOP brought on its own defeat in 76, but I'm sure more than a handfull of Boomers voted for Reagan and Bush in 80, 84 and 88. By 92, enough people were POd at both parties that a damaged 3rd party candidate still managed to garner more than 17% of the vote...and, because no one in power paid attention, 12% in 96. Now add all the recent minority immigrants (thanks to the Reagan amnesty) into the mix and we have the squeakers of 00 and 04 and with the way they have multiplied, we arrive at today. So to say it is ALL the Boomers' fault is far from accurate.
