I've been there. VERY small. I was on a tour and on the Sunday morning I asked about the Catholic Churches and their services.
The city we were in had ONE Catholic Church and there was ONE service: 11:00 A.M. THAT was it. Kind of surprised me because I am used to traveling around Europe and there are churches EVERYwhere. Broadened MY horizons, about my own country.

The difference is the European cathedrals, though numerous,
are ill-attended.

Ellsworth, ME has one Catholic Church but dozen or so Baptist
and Pentecostal Churches.
