The Mark of the Beast
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelation 14:
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Dear one, you would not take such a mark, regardless. And hopefully, you will not be around when that 'sorting' is done, for it is those who refuse to faithe (the verb form intended) in Jesus who will be in that sorting.
Among other instructions and refusals, it is very explicit about no RFID chip or later technology for buying and selling (I'd have to dig out a copy for the wording). That is in case I get Alzheimer's or mentally incapacitated before I die.
Even though it could be against my will and nursing home patients don't usually buy stuff, I don't want any part of it.
So do you think using a debit or credit card or iphone with ipay is a little too close for comfort? It gets so easy to get complacent.
I have followed the UPC code, taken some flak for believing it is the forerunner of the 666 system. It is a very silent minority who believe as you and I do about a literal interpretation of the passages you quoted.
I have not used cash for I can't remember the last time. Kept some in my wallet for emergencies or helping family or whatever. Haven't even put change in a parking meter. It's kind of scary when you think of it.
I never really got comfortable with my social security number being misused for years now and wondered if I made a mistake not running for the hills back then lol. I'd be dead for sure.
St. Seraphim of Serov, a Russian aesthetic monk, left as his legacy among other things a prophecy. Since the Russian Christians suffered so terribly under Bolshevism and later communism, they would be spared the anti-christ (the real deal) and that people would flock to Russia as a place of safety.
It's hard to believe but maybe it is possible. Nobody but nobody will want to go to Russia even to escape the anti-christ. I certainly would if I weren't too old. Even if the prophecy isn't true. It's not very well known.
In any case, there are more places to hide there although technology is so advanced, I doubt there is any place on earth to hide, hope I'm wrong about that.
