You have actually touched on something very important. I knew we had a tremendous heroin and prescription opiate problem but the point was brought home when I saw the ads you are talking about for the first time.
Those ads run everywhere, but especially on shows watched by housewives, like the chick movie networks. It is hugely expensive to advertise there, so there audience must be tens of millions. This is the first time where major advertisers have specifically gone after drug users as a target audience, as far as I know.

That’s exactly what I thought. Combine that with the supposed increase in white female mortality and suicide, and maybe things are really worse than at least I thought they maybe were.
