Most of the focus seems to be on the parents, but I think the zoo is the most at fault party for providing an unsafe environment for children. The zoo is most at fault for the child almost being killed and the gorilla being killed.

The parents will likely file a lawsuit against the zoo for providing an unsafe environment for families at the zoo. That should result in changes at the zoo that will protect visitors and the animals in the zoo.

I agree. The zoo should be made to where children cannot climb into a gorilla cage.

And, you’re correct, there will be a lawsuit and the family will receive money from it. The parents didn’t go to the zoo seeking a lawsuit but there will be lawyers encouraging them to file suit. And my guess is that they will.

If the zoo was really at fault, you'd expect kids to have been dropping in there like hotcakes.

How long has the exhibit been operational vs how many surprise(d) guests?
