These matters of the heart and family take a long time to come to terms with and then having to make decisions about whether to pursue legal recourse, take time. Calmer heads prevail upon reflection.

Kate and her family are suffering because these people and entiies didn't do their jobs and enforce the law. To the contrary, they did the exact opposite and enabled and encouraged illegal criminals to take refuge in San Francisco.

I think the family has made the right decision. I hope they get some relief from their grief.
