Imagine a sex scandal and covering it up taking down Starr. This is straight out of Greek tragedy.

I am sure there is certain justice to this. No sympathy for Starr.

Someone had to take the fall, and they didn’t want to risk their highly rated football program by holding the coach responsible for his role.

Kenneth Starr did a poor job, I think< prosecuting Clinton for his many crimes including rape, molestation and lieing in the teeth of a Federal judge . I think he covered up sex crimes in that job and the job he had at Baylor now,IMO. Also, I found this sickening quote from him in reported at MSN.com http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/kenneth-starr-reportedly-fired-as-baylor-president-amid-football-team-sex-scandal/ar-BBtq21X?ocid=ansmsnnews11

“In an odd bit of timing, Starr recently praised Clinton, almost, according to the New York Times, “seeming to absolve” the former president and calling him “the most gifted politician of the baby boomer generation.”

“There are certain tragic dimensions which we all lament,” he said during a panel discussion on the presidency at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. “That having been said, the idea of this redemptive process afterwards, we have certainly seen that powerfully” in Clinton’s post-presidency.

Starr went on to say of Clinton: “His genuine empathy for human beings is absolutely clear. It is powerful, it is palpable and the folks of Arkansas really understood that about him — that he genuinely cared. The ‘I feel your pain’ is absolutely genuine.”

What a white wash and waste of taxpayers funds, IMO. Adios. What about the coach?

I simply don’t understand what a coach and/or university is supposed to do if a girl claims she was assaulted by an athlete other than advise her to contact the police. Which is what should have been done in the first place. Let the school find out about the claim from the police.

Are they supposed to accept the girl’s complaint as fact and “convict” the player without trial? Do that and they’re charged with racism.

One girl sued Baylor saying the university was “indifferent” to her claim of assault. What exactly does that mean? Was she upset because they didn’t immediately call a press conference and announce the player’s name and say that he had been accused of sexual assault? That automatically ruins the player’s reputation if he’s innocent. And they can’t identify the claimant or she’d sue for her reputation being damaged.

When recruiting is the coach supposed to point out to the recruit that “Our university does not condone black athletes raping girls so if that’s in your plans you need to go to Miami.” (That’s a joke to remind everyone of Jimmy Johnson’s days at Miami.) I doubt many moms would allowed their kid to sign with that university. “Are you accusing my son of being a thug?”

I don’t know what exactly happened at Baylor or what didn’t happen. But if Starr is responsible so is the AD and every coach. And let me say that Starr proved himself to be a fraud by praising Clinton. And I’m a huge Baylor fan. My wife said “This would have to happen the year we finally joined the Bear Club.” If they get rid of Briles they might as well volunteer for the death penalty.
