Well, none of the people who have spoken out about it, like Corey Feldman, or now Elijah Wood, are actually naming names. It’s a little hard to do anything if people won’t make a real accusation.
That’s pretty much what I meant. That is the “scandal”: that people know but won’t do anything.
The actual abuse is a crime, a tragedy, an abomination, pick your noun, but not a scandal.
Corey Haim took it to his grave, spoke about it quite a bit but never named names. Tough to name names in that biz. Hell, it’s even tough to out yourself as a conservative in that biz.
Which really surprises me. He was the main bread winner for his Dad, who made him do anything for money, among many other things. He had no protection, neither did Corey Haim.
The only reason, I think, why he isn't naming the pervs is because he's afraid of being called a discredited liar, a complicit Hollywood media and lawsuits that won't end until the day he dies.
