AMA professional flat track racing live at the Sacramento Mile!
I assume the Sacramento Mile is in California.
Good stuff.
I think we are watching the beginning of the end for the XR750. That sucker has been around and winning for damn near 50 years.
Last week at the Phoenix Mile that old air cooled engine just got slower and slower as the laps added up. I hope HD or some one like Zanotti is doing some R&D on that new 750 to see if it can be made competitive. I am afraid it is going to be a long road back for them though.

The commentators were just talking about that and yes, many are working on better things including Harley. I do not think there has ever been such a variety of bikes on the track as there has been in the last few years. It is nice.
I for one find it very interesting that Daytona Motorsports Group screw up AMA Superbike so bad and seemed to have done so well with the AMA Flat track.
Full fields, several makes and new riders coming on. Big change from not so long ago.
Interesting to say the least.
But never forget, the AMA is a lot like the government. If it ain’t broke, they will fix it until it is.

Watched the motocross outdoor and now this. I love flat track since I was a kid. My next door neighbor used to race and I was always in his garage bugging him! lol.
I have a friend who was a wrench for Kenny Roberts back in the day...
