Mrs. L just passed her CCL classes a few weeks ago and we are just waiting on the State to issue her card. The shooting requirements aren’t all that difficult. 30 total rounds. 10 at ten yards, 10 at 7 yards, 10 at 5 yards,
21 out of 30 required to pass on a standard B-7 target. That’s the big silhouette one. Your friend can walk you through it. Since you’re former military you don’t need the Basic Pistol class. So it’s just 2 four hour classes and you’ll be good to go.
The permit gives you options. You may not always want to carry but if you do, you can.

well, I’m thinking I’m going to have to do it, if I wait, it’ll be too late, even if I don’t get the conceal permit, I think I’d like to have a shotgun for the house or something.
