Species Dysphoria. Sometimes I’m a giraffe.
“This week, The World Around Us looks at the growing social phenomenon of mice and men. What is it that makes a man want to be a mouse?”
“Well, it’s not a question of wanting to be a mouse; it’s something that just happens to you, and you decide...that’s what you want to be.”
“And when did you notice these, shall we say, tendencies?”
“Well, some mates and me went to a party and, you know, we had a lot to drink, and pretty soon I noticed some of the lads started handing cheese around, and just out of curiosity I tried a bit...and that was that.”
“What else did these fellows do?”
“Well, some of them started dressing up like mice a bit, and when they had got the mouse costumes on, they started...squeaking.”
And for the umpteenth time, folks....truth is always stranger than fiction!! We are so bleeped as a society unless something turns around.
